Cannot Download Game Ps4
  1. Ps4 Purchased Game Not In Library

I bought the Witcher 3 and EA Sports UFC online using the PSN network. I tried downloading both but kept receiving the download error 'NW-31456-9'. I contacted Sony support and they said that the problem was with my ISP blocking the ports that PSN uses to connect to your device and then download the game. I called my provider earlier today and changed the port settings so that those ports were open on my PS4 then attempted to download the Witcher 3. The download failed. I called Playstation Support they told me to delete the data on my ps4 and try again, that also failed. They then told me to try downloading it via PC and that also failed.

Oct 31, 2018 - What can stop an application from downloading or starting and how to fix it. What's the issue you're experiencing? Download won't start.

I tried changing the PS4 to DMZ mode and that also failed. They then, in so many words, told me to go fuck myself.I can get onto PSN, I can download demos, DLC and add ons with no problem. I only get the error when I try to download those two full games.

I haven't for obvious reasons tried it with other full games. If I cannot fix the problem myself I'll contact the Citizens Advice Bureau and Watchdog to see if they can help me get a refund. In the meantime I was wondering if anyone could help me find a way to download the relevant files onto my PC and then install them onto my playstation directly?.

I was with you until you said they told you to go F. yourself. They didn't say that and your attitude regarding how they were attempting to troubleshoot your issue may explain why you failed to get a positive outcome from them.Have you tried downloading any of the free PS+ titles? You say that you 'haven't for obvious reasons' tried downloading other titles, but I would argue that an obvious test case would be to download other titles. You could at least verify whether or not the issue is limited to full purchased titles vs add-ons/demos/etc.If downloading a PS+ title (or a free-to-play game if you don't have PS+) doesn't work, then you may as well try the age-old 'step 1' in troubleshooting: backup your PS4 data onto an external drive and reset your system to factory settings before trying again. Well see if you can get a free trial of PS+ and then grab one of the free games.

It's worth a shot. Your issue is not likely due to an issue within PSN (as pretty much everyone else is not having the problem), so you're going to need to do everything you can to narrow down the problem. If you keep politely calling Sony, explaining the issue, and asking for a refund you may eventually get one. They will sometimes issue refunds if you haven't played the game 'enough' (which I think they measure by how many trophies you've earned in the game), so it's worth a shot to call them every day or two and keep trying (politely). I've started buying physical again because you don't really run into this problem. I suggest getting psn and your ISP on a conference call.

Have them talk it out. Kill them with kindness. They can't hang up on you, so it's up to you to find the right person to help you. Take down the names of everyone you speak with without sounding threatening.

Use their name often when speaking to them. If they can't help you, let them bounce you around untilSomeone does. In the meantime, buy physical. How I wish I could sell my $60 digital copy of dragon age that I don't play and I don't really ever want to play.

Can anyone explain amount of System Storage and why I can't download a small demo onto my PS4?Says I have 343.1 GB/408.5 GB full, says I have 18.79 GB of Free Space, and says I can't download and install a 2.49 GB game demo until I free up more space.I can guess that some of the hard drive space is reserved, and that's why the 65 GB I should actually have free only shows as 18.79 GB. I know that digital downloads require up to twice their size be free on the destination drive before they can be downloaded and installed. However, I can't think of a single explanation why it would tell me 2.5 GB won't fit in 18.79 GB of free space.

I've tested with other demos and can only squeeze in about a GB before it starts telling me I need to delete things to fit more.
